if you guys happened to be update with the Canon cameras, i am sure that you all heard about the superb f/2.0 yet it's a compact camera - Canon PowerShot S95 !

all that u need to know about this powerful PowerShot is its new HS System, Hybrid IS, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) and HD movie with Stereo Sound ! for more info, find it out here.

apart from the low noise level at high ISO setting, it possess a great features !

and yet, this S95 is so stylish that it's flash is a pop-up type !

u saw the pop-up flash light? chio !

the new feature that i love the most - High Dynamic Range (HDR)

the above photo is taken using the HDR but was too busy that time, thus no proper photos have been taken.

there's another feature that i like the most - Fisheye !

this is because by using it, u can change everything, including the slimming and enlarging things !

this guys sure looked like he gym alot ! haha,,

from small size, u can make it extra large !! haha..

for most of the Canon cameras, i always feel great with the color accent !

random band that doin the sound check for the incoming battle of the band !

one of the main purposes of s95 is the HD movie with stereo sound

all these review, i'm not doing it for any Canon advertisement.

it's just to update my blog. haha...

anyway, camera review is done when i'm working part time for PIXUS Sdn. Bhd. during IT Rocks at Stadium Malawati.

that day, I went to Sekinchan and "accidently" proceed to Teluk Intan for a 2-days trip !

I was asking my coursemate, Way Kit whether he's willing to walk us around Sekinchan, then without any consideration, he said yes then @nikelkhor [coursemate + blogger] and Nicholas [not coursemate but secondary classmate =.=] come along without any proper preparations ! hahaz..

recently, i went to Taiwan with nobody !

was at the end of the road coz my 400D is spoilt and not sure whether i can take nice photos or not.
my bRO can't help me much but lend me his IXUS860 as backup of my IXUS80 !
went there from 19 - 22 Sept ! AirAsia fly me there with a low-affordable price ! ^^

so, what can IXUS do with the help of tripod?

Dan Shui - where there's a night market as well with a great view of sunset !

i used Canon 400D happily before but ended up it fails to switch on last few months and i have no more DSLR for now. @.@

anyhow, i tried out my bRO's new Canon 7D, guess what ?
it cost a lot but it is superb ! >.<

which Canon camera to buy?

camera come is sizes just like our underwear.

S [small], M [medium], and L [large]

we learn to wear our underwear just like how we learn to use the camera.

when we're small, we're quick learner and absorb very well just like IXUS camera, easy and user-friendly.

then, we tend to grow and get a larger underwear.

some people just couldn't fit in those large underwear as their waist are not large enough to fit in.

you got what i mean?

same to camera. they don't need the "larger" camera but they still buying it, ended up left it nowhere.

as for me, i got 2 sizes of underwear : S and L [IXUS and EOSDSLR]

why? S is for my own use whereas L is for when my waist got bigger after eat much. =.=

people nowadays tend to have something perfect, either in prices, specification and the sizes ! [in hokkien, be it cheap, great and nice] especially girl, who want it small and yet powerful ! hahaz..

yes, indeed you can have it that way as Canon has it - G-series and S-series, which they named it PowerShot !

both series fall into the M size !

in conclusion,

S = IXUS and M = PowerShot then L = EOSDSLR

but for some particular people, they have more patterns in choosing camera.

whenever they mentioned about more functions, they included the communication function.

and this has forced the technology to improve the phone's capability which turn out to be - camera phone!

if you ask me whether i have camera phone or not, i'll answer: "who don't have? =.= " as everyone has it !

have better budget and planning to buy a CAMERA phone?
i'll say NO !
at least go for the new Canon PowerShot A495, which only cost you RM399 ! =) [cheap and very high quality]

another thing, if you guys wanted to buy camera, you can bump to me or join Pixus Sdn Bhd Facebook Fan Page to ask as many questions as you could ! hehez..

a wedding in March

it's the date that my sifu a.k.a step bRO, who got married on this date, entering another phase of his life and laughing at my bRO for not getting married yet. =.=

i was in KL having my mid-term that time but has to rush back to KCH on 25th night and prepare for the 26th then return to KL for my Energizer Night Marathon at 27th.

so, you should know how tired i am at that particular week ! --> @.@

anyway, it was my first wedding photo shoot. although it's tiring but it's worth it coz feel like being more and more pro in photography.

i was using Canon 500D with the Sigma 18-200mm lens and played with its video function. tell you guys what, the video function of it was SUPERB ! but gotta owez prepare few more extra memory cards. hahaz.. i brought 24GB and it's FULLED.

cut the craps and have few shots and a video. =)

Canon camera is into advanced video world

Canon camera is never the same again after i joined the PhotoMarathon before this.
and that particular event is mainly introducing the new Canon 7D.

what the different compared to other camera?
7D is a upper mid-range of camera. [which is below the high-end (ex. Canon 1D Mark III) but higher than the low-end camera (ex. Canon 50D) and of coz i'm classifying it in DSLR excluding those compact camera XD]

and what is so difference that i'm so eager to tell y'all - the video function !
if you think it's only the simple video function like those other brands' camera, then you're wrong !
if you think that it won't be greater than the mid-end video camera that you bought, you're wrong again !

if you think it's likely the same as the pro video camera, then you're half right ! hahaz..
coz for me, it's better than that ~

it offers full manual control on the shutter speed and aperture..

the main reason is this, it looks better than the high-end video camera ! hahaz..

this looks great, isn't it ? yeah ~!

now you know why i said it looks more pro ? LOL

the very first time i hold a DSLR, my bRO said, "everything that you have to know first in handling this super camera is all about the shutter speed". thus i start with that !

shutter control is a great start but why ?

for me, it's because it controls the picture motion - if you understand what i'm saying here rather than the brightness which is quite a general term.

people nowadays play shutter in a lot of way especially in a way that capture a still image that express motion or something like ghostly-look or light-equipped image.

from that instance, i fall for DSLR for its capabilities and of coz there are more function that relates for a better image.

and here, i would like to share some photos i have it before. =)

this is the first light graffiti i ever make and i made it alone with tripod and accompany by a friend aside. hahaz..

with only a tochlight, tripod and shutter-adjustable camera !

then, this is the first lightning i ever take coincidently at Kuching Waterfront with my bRO !

this is somehow everyone loves to take ! traffic's beauty ~

this is the ghostly-motion still image at the tip of Borneo, Sabah !

with the help of remote ~ yeah !

400D parts for SALE !

since last year, i've been a Canon 400D user as it was given by my bRO.

but there's a day which is just few weeks before. it gives me problem by not giving me any chance to turn it on. So, i've decided to send her to 'clinic'.

after 1 week, SMS from the Canon service centre is received, required my permission to 'operate' her. but things does not always go as planned/dreamed. my financial status is not supporting me as it requires MYR1200++ to have it functional.

i'm gonna put it in a box for now.. sigh~

talked with my bRO, i've decided to sell my 400D parts. because he said: "its time, bRO. upgrade laaa... "

so, that's why i'm selling my camera parts, but for those who loves to collect camera even if it is faulty. do tell me. we can have some talk. =) coz it is still a Japan-made gadget ! hahaz...

the lens has no scratch till now as it's is well-taken care of ! =)

today's class is special as we're having an outdoor photo shooting at our Varsity Lake. Moreover, it's more convenient for me to walk there as it's nearer (it's just opposite of my college.. hehez.. ) Proudly, I brought my beauty 400D along there.

after a few shots, my battery flat. -.-" I run back to my college to get another battery pack (luckily, I have quite lots of batteries.. ). When I'm there again, classmates started to take photos while I'm blank. -.-" What I heard from others about the topic today is "erm.. take a photo of model with background blur blur de lor.. "

as y'all don't know, I am having my co-curricular subject this semester.

and I found that it's quite true but I'm not sure if you guys agree with it or not. hehez..

maybe most of you wonder why do I put Canon as the prefix.
it's because my first camera is Canon branded and there's non-other brand I feel comfortable with although I've used quite a lot camera before (as I'm a camera sales promoter).

for me, every camera has its own quality but the best thing is it fits you and your needs.

in this photography world, my bRO inspired me a lot by teaching me about shutter speed at first. starting from that moment, I have my passion in photography. my cameras are given by my generous bRO.

some of you might think that you need a DSLR to step in this photography thingy, but you are wrong in that way as even camera phone can do the same thing. as I've said before, it depends on your needs.

I am starting this canon-mic.blogspot.com as I'm discovering my skills in photography. You might think that you're good (for you're having better camera / experiences / older / more qualified with accredited certificates) but guys, YOU'RE WRONG !
